after one movie ended, i caught another abt 3 hours later at an unearthly hour of 2am! but that movie was oh-so-worth-it! sheesh, gotta tell u abt this guy who fell asleep and was practically snoring beside me.. (T_T) seriously.. i believe his gf didnt wanna wake him up cos he was prob bummed out or sth, but he was becoming quite a nuisance and she finally nudged him. ugh! at least i didnt hafta do anything if i really couldnt stand it. oh, and ppl, pls be careful if u watch really late night movies at The Cathay, cos the carpark was pitch black save for the eerie green exit signs. so just watch your back.
and i also caught another show with Ren and co last Tues. 3 movies in 3 days. she's determined to make me a movie addict like her! and she thinks i see a smaller picture through my windows to the world just cos i've got small eyes. hmmphf.. tt's not true! i teasingly rebutted her and said tt small eyes can focus on detail better! haha! dont be so evil hor! =p
coincidentally realised that all 3 were centred on the theme of romance cos usually i'd like a wider range tho Horror is not inclusive of course (as all of u know). think Fool's Gold was not worth the money, esp paying $10 for it. but Leap Years was good tho Ren hated its repetitive scenes. and PS I Love You was just super duper sweet! This is a Must Watch! Loved it! oh, and yup, i've yet to read the book which Ren bought me last X'mas and tt silly girl went to buy one when i could have just passed her mine!
oh, and Isaac (the only guy carrying a backpack), otherwise affectionately known since young as Miao, he's a full-time photographer. he gave us the privilege of peeping into some of his works and it was real pretty! i'm into abstract and random photos which capture the natural shots of ppl's emotions, and he did that very well while covering his friend's wedding. so whoever out there is getting married, i'd recommend him!
went for another concert over the weekend @ NTU's ADM. it was Hall 6's cultural night called "Twinkle Shing!" had a range of talents but I believe KR's is still one of the best, not being biased cos i was from tt hall but the cultural groups there are really pro. the light sticks given out by the committee really added alot of life to the atmosphere, plus the constant support the crowd gave to the performers when they belted out songs and danced. singapore's hidden talent (otherwise not very visible) was when Daniel Tan and Jim Lim came out as a duo with their guitars and entertained the crowd. as friends bicker, they teased and praised each other's skills and creativity. it was heart-warming yet amusing at the same time, and indeed their talent is very commendable! all artists should use their songs!!
after the event, i finally saw a familier face: Danqi! seems like the both of us missed our JC gathering. but on the car ride home, we got to talk to Mr Tan, our CT who now wants us to call him Tony though we still arent very used to the idea. another gathering is scheduled in July when BT returns home. so hopefully i can make it then!
had a fun time teasing JJ when the Uni peeps met up. the gang grew through simple introductions and being acquaintances so it's nice to see them once in awhile and it's cool to have conversations keep flowing and laughing at the silly mistakes one another makes or TM's super cold lame jokes. so funny!

Tell me bedtime stories..
tell me fairytales..
sing me nursery rhymes..
sing me a lullaby..
so that i can sleep soundly
without fears, without tears..
but with a smile
lighting up the darkness.
