Part 2 on Saturday was to go for a wine appreciation course organised by Feng. interesting stuff i learnt that there were many different types of grapes, and also tt u were not supposed to mention the word 'grapes' when asked what kinda content was mixed in the wine. Place was at Winebos near Clarke Quay.

the main focus was that we were supposed to be there to taste and appreciate the wine, but most of us were waiting anxiously to see what food was gonna be served next cos we were hungry! boy, does the climbers finish up their food pretty fast in comparison with other tables, all of whom were related to Feng one way or another. popular guy there =]
tasted 4 types of wines which were accompanied with some snacks, and we ended up quite full at the end of the session. shall share some info with ya:
- White wine: Las Corazas (grape variety: Macabeo) accompanied with crackers and cheese
- White wine: Bianco Leggero, Sauvignon Blanc (grape variety: Sauvignon Blanc & Muscatel) accompanied with a mixture of white mean atop crackers
- Red wine: Goldleaf Classic Red (grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Shiraz) accompanied with potato chips and sausages
- Red wine: Las Corazas (grape variety: Tempranillo) accompanied with pizza

the mood was really relaxed and felt so laid-back w the gang. we also got to taste ice wine, or rather 'nice wine', cos of its sweetness. ooh-la-la, really liked it though it felt a little thick. cheers with the pretty babe who gets reddened easily like me! but i drank pretty little in comparison to her cos i wanted to be sane when i met up w my couz later on =]

oh and we took in the festive spirit of CNY by popping by into chinatown which was still very crowded past ten at night, and i satisfied my craving of Chengtng in Maxwell market. haiz.. but still cant beat the one at Bedok Corner. heard that there's a better one at Toa Payoh? i needa try! oh and Adrian's talk abt tau huay with ahballing sounds really yummy! i wanna try tt too! gosh.. i'm a glutton.. needa cut down on food..*bites lips*
Part 3 was w the couzzie whom i'll only get to meet like twice a year cos he studies in the US. miss him lots and lots! it's great to be in the heartlands drinking beer and hear my couzzies talking shit! haha.. i mean they talk loads of rubbish which is seriously entertaining =D hmmm.. perhaps i'll get a chance to meet him later this year if i go over and visit him!

alrightyz, tho i've been eating and drinking, i don't forget to exercise! have been jogging around the estate and even had an early morning jog with Nitz to Bedok Reservoir and back! haha.. we both felt a sense of accomplishment but feel that we can run further just tt a bit lazy and we were catching up abt some happenings in our lives. ahh.. and we tried this Raisin bomb at this kopitiam opposite TJC which i spotted in the food blog. was uber uber nice! crispy on the outside but yet soft on the inside and was very tasty! what a good way to start a Sunday morning =]
ooh, hopefully Nitz gets inspired to run more so that we can encourage and pace each other. it rocks to be healthy, now i just hafta cut down on my food intake cos i've officially put on the pounds! ah.. and i've gotta cut down on shopping and spending moolah on relatively expensive lunches cos i wanna save up to fly here and there. wheeee~
have a happy weekend ahead! it'll be a busy one for me, which is good =] cya next week!
