in Ipoh, the weather was great in the morn, but rained late afternoon. look at the wall in the middle of the pic, otherwise known as 'the needle'. what a sight! climbing was alright, after not climbing natural walls for half a year. but my nerves got the better of me, and yet again, the fear of falling sapped up too much of my energy to keep me from completing the route. darrrnnn.. i lurve climbing.. but recently cos, i have been unable to perform well, it kinda dampens my spirits.. i wanna do better, but somehow i can't.. i don't dare to try either.. just too embarrassed..
that's all for climbing, for now.. rest my fingers, in other words, lose my strength. i hope my arms become slimmer.. seniors realised tt i'm the only girl whose arms grew bigger, so i shan't climb! nah, tt's not it. i grew to become comfy with the way i look. just tt i could be better =p

alright, spot the climber! teckie was climbing up 'the needle'. coolness!

the next day, after climbing till mid noon, we went to the adjoining water theme park which included a hot spring. it was burning hot man! i've been to a few and this was really too much to bear! after awhile, i got a bit light-headed and we decided to play with the slides. it wasn't really impressive, but fun nonetheless. we visited caves and temples and shopping malls the day after as our bus only left at night. photo on the left depicts me and teckie 'jumping' down one of the platforms in the caves. arrrggghhh..

after spending 3 days in Ipoh, it was off to Pulau Perhentian. boy, did i get a pleasant surprise! uber clear waters with pretty fishes, turtles, crabs and soft sand! beach volleyball, soccer, snorkelling, jungle trekking, scrambling over rocks, gazing into the universe of stars above, spotting shooting stars, playing bridge, memory game >>> FUN!
