7 days w 4 great ppl, with each other not knowing at least 1 other person in the group. but there wasn't any weird-ness to start with when we saw each other at the airport.
bus rides made us drop off to slumber, though some were spiced with some chatting w each other, w this cute auntie who always bickered with the tour guide. weather didnt hold up too well with close to 5days of rain (no thx to blur me forgetting to bring a jacket. borrowed a long-sleeve shirt from Guohui where i looked pretty weird). food was superb! the taiwan snacks really live up to its name but SF and i were disppointed with the shopping. was it cos we both got a bit sian after the first day at ximending tt's why we didnt bother to check out all the shops in other day/night markets? weirdly so, bcos JH bought tons of stuff from there as well as SF's fren's from another group. or perhaps, we just didn't like what we saw? 'one man's meat is another

man's poison'. true indeed. but seriously, the stuff there was so BLING n glaring! huge shiny words splashed across clothings with sequins, lace and sparkles and danced around tops and shoes. sure, i do like bling, but too much of tt is just a turnoff. alright, before u get all hot and bothered since ppl think tt Taiwan has lots to offer, ask JH first ok? hehe... i'm a bit biased. but nonetheless, i bought a pair of boots, heels, a few pair of earrings, necklaces, hairband.. err.. come to think of it, it wasn't all tt bad yeah? haha.. SF just managed to get a top for herself n other stuff for her sis n fren (anything else?) of course, boxes of food were packaged in boxes to bring home cos they were yummy!
oh, n i absolutely lurrrve the wacky photos we all took. sadly, it's in Rick's cam so i'll hafta wait till it comes. i hope it does! here are some. this was where we were at this aboriginal village theme park, n i managed to persuade SF n Rick to try the plunge-28storeys ride. thrilling, exciting but most of all, death-defying! i'm sure our hearts were in our mouths n we were trembling for v long! scarreee but fun! (ask SF abt her experience =p) haha, the 5 of us also volunteered ourselves to dance with the entertainers. on stage! quite cool and then when we returned to our seats, the aborigines came at me n took out their 'knives' ready to kidnap me(photo w SF), but they got distracted by some other stuff n left. haha.. traumatic!
