seriously, in HK. like, in my whole life, i was NEVER a shopaholic. really! i like buying things, sure, but i never overspend, always within budget, and will always think if i will wear the clothes, if they are worth it. but man, i went mad in HK.
just had 2 office peeps head back from HK, and i've got like a Miss HK in my office. nope, she's not a HK-er, but she practically stays there, knows the place inside out, and visits it like thrice a year, annually! ha.. she's a gem, sitting down w me for an hour while i went over my itinery with her. i dunno why alot of ppl think i'm taitai-ish. i ain't! i earn my own keep and spend my own money, but of course, there's the occasional lovely prezzies from my boy =] now, who doesn't get presents from their bfs?
so anyway, Zo and Kes knows that i aint a person who just anyhow buys clothes even tho i think they're cheap, they know i'll think and think, and i'll get guilty if i buy too much and thus will reduce my spending. so they asked me to change more than i needed but i thought 'nah! i wouldn't spend so much!' they kept reminding me that since i'm spending quite a sum on the accomdation and air tix, i shd make full use of it and spend my money well on the cheap clothes there. so.. *sheesh!* in the end, i ran outta cash and started using my credit card. ha.. the comforting thing is that at least the exchange rate aint that bad! *WinKs* alright, so here are my buys..
issit alot? anyway, i think they are all fab buys! H&M is overrated and my all-time favourite haunt is Mongkok Centre (wang jiao zhong xin)! so many pretty things bought, that if in Sg, it'd be twice as expensive! i still bought more stuff on our last day even though the luggage was packed. got stuff for working wear, and also casual wear. gorgeous clothings! ha.. now i know why Zo can go there and spend so much now. it's so worth it.and we ate alot of fooood! dim sum is our fave, so we specially went to this place at Prince Edward which was pretty outta the way for us and plonked our butts there. but boy, was it worth the trip (it's not that far). it's called One Dim Sum. we did skip some meals due to all the shopping, but we sure did eat a whole lot too! ha.. i just hope Xin didn't lose weight while walking so much w me!
thank you my dear girl for going on this trip w me. our little bickerings, deep conversation and silly antics sure made this an unforgettable trip. loved your company!
alright, that's it. i'm barred from shopping until i say so.. this is self-imposed.. but i've got a weakness for shoes.. *YiKes!* till the time comes when i see a suitable pair then (^0^)\/

Singapore
Tell me bedtime stories..
tell me fairytales..
sing me nursery rhymes..
sing me a lullaby..
so that i can sleep soundly
without fears, without tears..
but with a smile
lighting up the darkness.
