wheeeee~ woootssss~ woohooooo~ wahlaaaaa~
plans are falling into place and are underway..
imagine living with nature, in nature..
the grass the sand the trees the rocks
taking in the breeze, the sun burning down ur back
starting ur own fire, sleeping under the stars..
the sweat the determination
the excitement the satisfaction..
but in the back of mind there's also worry abt the safety.
let's just hope that we take the proper precautions and be alert.
this is all still superbly egg-citing (in Nit's words)!
ROCKS!

since i was 'nominated' to be in Rec Club for my coy, naturally i'd also hafta be in the organising comm for the DnD rite? this extra responsibility can be quite cumberson but also rewarding too. kinda conflicting cos though i like mingling around with people, some people take things for granted and in the end your efforts are not appreciated. oh well, at least i'm glad my colleagues whom i'm working with, liked the event which was held @ Pan Pacific =]
here's the organising comm decked out in our Brazilian wear!
with my dept peeps and big boss right smack in the middle of the pic with his "Shaggy Baby!" (he kept repeating it the whole night) Austin Powers outfit which made him totally unrecognizable! our team was gg with the theme of being colourful so they were all trying to have all the colours of the rainbow in. aint very obvious, but at least it aint all black and white.and the whole gang who've gotta ensure clients are all happy and satisfied
and a fellow hunky guy who drank alcohol like water.. gosh.. luckily i declined to join them, cos they partied till 6am in the morn! presenting 'Jack Sparrow' from Pirates of the Carribean!
the two lovely girls who really spice up my life! being so cheery and bubbly and we bitch tons-load! hehe..

movie mania during CNY. was actually thinking of watching CJ7 or Ah Long Pte Ltd, but RL and Ong Lai was so against the idea. had pretty lousy expectations of this new Jay Chou movie cos heard it was pretty lame. Jay Chou's previous Secret, was really good, tho both were pretty unrealistic, the emotions inflicted throughout the movie was pretty effective, and i quite liked it. oh, but 10 bucks for movies nowadays, is really cut throat man.. ugh!
we had steamboat and then proceeded to have drinks and desserts and Blu Jaz Cafe! wheee~ finally chilled out at this place which i have been eyeing for a long time =] Jazz is really soothing and the band was good!
we played games that tested our reaction, our ability to differentiate and kinda our knowledge for chinese. somehow the stories got a bit outta hand but we all had a good laugh abt it. oh, and there was a whole lot of talk about celebrities and their lives/ scandals. technology might be a tad frightening, but ppl's intentions are the ultimate evil. an ulterior motive, or just simply starved for attention might just be some of the suspicions, but less that act of stupidity, all of it could be possibly avoided. oh well, they've gotta get back up and think of ways to get around the whole topic.
okie dokz, enough of those mindless gossip. another annual affair of climbers was at Jups' place. they are a big fan of games, all sorts. instead of gambling, other than MJ, they settled for carrom and card games which did not involve money.
i busied myself by chatting with Ruix and how our Coy could really improve its employee benefits. hardly much increment, lousy bonus, very few days of leave, compensation aint much better either. sighz.. *shakes head* sounds bad eh? but the good thing is, the ppl are lovely and i can leave my job on time, at least for now. my leader assigned me to be the back up for some of my colleagues so i've got quite alot of new stuff to learn! which is good in a sense, but busy too. oh well, better learn more abt the industy anyway since i think i should be in this line for some time.
a group photo is not to be missed at gatherings! CNY is ending this Thurs. to those gambling, hope u guys are on a winning streak or that you win before it ends! not tt it matters whether it's CNY or not, but tt gambling is kinda only limited to this 15-day period for my family. Huat Ar!

food was not bad but seems that the place was really popular cos ppl kept streaming in, and tho they had lotsa waiters and waitresses around, everyone was too busy and they hardly took any heed to what we needed. we ordered 7 dishes for a total of 13 ppl but of course, tt wasnt enough and since we weren't gonna wait any longer for their service, we decided to trot over to Tiong Bahru market for more food!
had a hilarious time there hearing Adrian talking and talking. the latest gossip and news took place over a bowl of my fave cheng tng, together with the company of San and Teckie too. just super loved the small talk we had!
after tt a few of us went down to Grapevine to catch the Man U and Spurs match. love watching matches epecially with hardcore fans. cos can see their frustration and excitement. gosh.. but Spurs deserved a win instead of a draw from a last second goal on the ManU side. i know lotsa ManU fans, so i wont say much here =p
guess i'll see the bulk of you in a mth and a half's time @ Boulderactive! those competing, train hard! (hear that Teckie? i know Adrian's training real hard. San & Charl, i'll be cheering the loudest for you girls!) =]
thanks for turning up guys!

Singapore
Tell me bedtime stories..
tell me fairytales..
sing me nursery rhymes..
sing me a lullaby..
so that i can sleep soundly
without fears, without tears..
but with a smile
lighting up the darkness.
